Established by renowned singer George Rae and Product Manager Alexis Donald, Rae Music is young, innovative and fresh in its approach to music coordination and management. As an experienced producer and highly qualified performer, George has worked in London's West End and has toured the world with prestigious companies.

Rae Music specialises in arranging live music for various occasions, including wedding ceremonies and corporate functions, using elite, professional musicians to perform just for you. There are a select number of musicians working with George, ensuring your preferences are catered for to the highest standard.

Writing original music across a wide variety of styles, with lyrics written specially for you, Mark Stanford (composer) and Naomi Lee Schulke (lyricist) will write and perform your own song for you at your event.

Both are trained musicians and professional performers as well as writers, and strive to tailor-make each piece so that it is unique and to your personal specifications.

ARTISTS

GEORGE RAE VOICE

George Rae (BMus PGDip LRAM PGCE) trained at the Royal Academy of Music. Guest Musical Director for the West London School of Dance, The Anna Fiorentini Theatre & Film School, The Fame Academy and The MGA Academy of Performing Arts. As a performer, extensive West End experience includes 'Joseph', 'Fame' with Barbara Dickson, the Queen's Golden Jubilee at Buckingham Palace and operatic engagements with the Carl Rosa Opera Company in the USA and Canada. George regularly appears as a guest soloist on the world-famous Orient Express and was the recipient of the 2010 Leon Sinden Award (Best Male Supporting Actor) at Pitlochry Festival Theatre.

JEZ UNWIN VOICE

Jez is an accomplished jazz and swing singer and has performed his music countrywide and on several cruise ships including the World Cruise on Cunard's QEII. He also performs with various corporate groups including Masquerade Productions and 'The Rat Pack's Back'. He performs regularly as guest vocalist with several big bands including the Nick Ross orchestra and the Scarborough Spa orchestra and recently returned from a two-month stint as Jazz vocalist in the biggest casino on the planet, The Venetian, Macao.

CJ JOHNSON VOICE

Performing credits include Anna in The King and I, Rent with Denise Van Outen and The Woman in White with Michael Ball. Has been a featured vocalist at the 'Miss World' contest and at the London Palladium in Frank Sinatra - The Rat Pack. CJ recently appeared in the acclaimed West End production of Piaf for the Donmar Warehouse.

RACHEL SPURRELL VOICE

Rachel trained at the Bristol Academy of Performing Arts before attending the Royal Academy of Music where she graduated with distinction. Theatre credits include Johanna in Sweeney Todd (Greater London Tour), Maria in West Side Story (Tobacco Factory) and Sally Bowles in Cabaret (Redgrave Theatre). Rachel has numerous television and radio credits to her name and is currently starring in Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty's Theatre, London, marking her West End debut.

LORNA GELLER VIOLIN

Lorna's sophisticated and original performing talent encompasses a rich variety of styles and contexts. She completed a degree in music from Oriel College Oxford and went on to postgraduate studies at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London. She appears regularly with top London orchestras and has also appeared at the Covent Garden Royal Opera House as concertmaster of Opera-Theatre Europe. She has enjoyed successful collaborations with bands such as Razorlight and live appearances with Goldfrapp at the Royal Albert Hall.

CAROLINE CLIPSHAM PIANO

After attending Chetham's School of Music, Caroline was awarded a scholarship to study at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London. There she won numerous awards and prizes including the Claud Beddington Prize for Beethoven and the Gregory Salzman Piano award. Caroline has performed at the Wigmore Hall and the National Concert Hall, Dublin. She recently performed in London for Cherie Blair, and in the Middle East where she played for the Emir of Qatar.

TOBY HUNT VOICE

Toby trained at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, London. He has performed with Welsh National Opera and BBC National Chorus of Wales conducted by Richard Hickox, singing alongside some of the world's greatest classical singers. West End credits include: The Mikado, Iolanthe, and Pirates of Penzance with the Carl Rosa Opera Company. Outside the classical world Toby has performed alongside Michael Ball and Rod Stewart.

MARK STANFORD COMPOSER

After graduating from Cambridge University with a degree in Oriental Studies, Mark trained at the Royal Academy of Music on the Musical Theatre Performance Course. As an actor his credits include: 'Brad' in The Rocky Horror Show (Queens Theatre Hornchurch), 'Andy' in Dreamboats and Petticoats (UK Tour) and 'Bobby Childs' in Crazy For You (Kilworth House). His credits as Musical Director include: Dreamboats and Petticoats (UK Tour), Cinderella, 1916 The Musical, Just So, B.O.A.T.S. and A Tale of Two Cities.

NAOMI LEE SCHULKE LYRICIST

Naomi trained at Trinity College of Music and Central School of Speech and Drama. She works extensively throughout the UK as a singer, actor and musician, as well as coaching for companies including Guildford School of Acting and Oxford Shakespeare Company. Recent credits include Hattie in Kiss Me, Kate at Pitlochry Festival Theatre and The Night Queen at Coventry Belgrade. As a writer, Naomi works as both book writer and lyricist. She co-wrote 'Two's a crowd' with Matt Board in 2007, which won a place in the prestigious Perfect Pitch Festival. Naomi writes original and commissioned pieces of music with writing partner Mark Stanford.

CARMEN VASS VOICE

Carmen has performed in America, Germany and the UK. Performances include: Carl Rosa Opera Company in the West End, UK and USA tour; soloist for the Little Venice Music Festival; Adele (Die Fledermaus); Madame de Chateau d'Yquem (The Dinner Engagement); Poppea (L'incoronazione di Poppea); Frasquita (Carmen); Despina (Cosi fan Tutte) and Zerlina in Mozart's Don Giovanni.
